Jenna Landry
she/they
MSW, LGSW
Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Graduate Social Worker
My name is Jenna (she/they) and I am a pre-licensed clinical social worker. I delight in working with LGBTQIA+ children and teenagers (ages 4-18) and their families around themes of gender and sexual identity exploration, gender transition, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and trauma (PTSD and complex PTSD) in addition to working with adults of all ages.
With all clients, adults and children, I embrace the knowledge that our mental health is profoundly impacted by the world and systems around us, and I hold this complexity with gentleness and curiosity. I also believe that healing moves at the speed of trust, and building a relationship where you feel safe and held is the most important aspect of our work together. I believe that children and families need and deserve therapy that supports their own understanding of themselves and how they hope to grow in therapy.
I draw on sensorimotor psychotherapy, emotion identification, parts work, and narrative therapy to explore age-appropriate ways of understanding and engaging with emotions and identity. I love using art, play, and other alternative forms of self-expression with youth and adult clients, and am perpetually delighted by the creativity, questions, and self-understanding that clients bring to therapy.
I am also trained in SMART, a sensorimotor approach to working with children that includes attachment building, somatic regulation, and trauma reprocessing.
Jenna is in-network  with Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthPartners, Cigna, UCare, UCare PMAP , and straight MA (MN). Please double check with your network to ensure coverage. (Jenna bills under Dr. Kai Gunty, PhD.)
